Care Partner
Support Group Finder
If you are caring for a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or other loved one with aphasia, you are not alone. There are thousands of other people who are going through the same experiences you are.
Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to care for someone with aphasia. A support group can help you communicate with others, process your feelings, and even help you with some of the responsibilities you have.

Find a local support group
To find a support group near you, visit the National Aphasia Association at aphasia.org. They have several different types of groups that may meet online or in-person.
Join an online support group
Sometimes it’s easier for people with aphasia or their caregivers to join virtual support groups. This way, you can join from anywhere and you don’t have to leave your home.
Lingraphica offers a free online support community called Join In Aphasia. The program is designed specifically for anyone touched by aphasia. You can meet with hundreds of other care partners and families from around the world who understand your experience and can provide empathy and understanding.
