This is a Finding Words story!

When I had my stroke, I was partially paralyzed on the right side and my speech was affected. I could only say “go to school” which I said anytime they asked me a question. After leaving the hospital, I went to a Rehab facility for 10 days. Then I had six weeks of speech therapy and regained most of my speaking ability. I still have some trouble completing sentences and thinking of the right words. My husband is typing this because when I do it, it is all garbled.
