Joe Greenhouse

I went to the University of Illinois and then got my master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania. I created my own computer company called NORCOM VARs Network, which I had for seven years. I have been married to my wife for 41 years. We have three children. I love to travel, scuba dive, ski and drive fast cars.

But in 2003, I had a stroke. A neurologist said I have aphasia because I was unable to speak. Despite intensive speech therapy and practice, it remained this way for more than a year.

I joined a local stroke support group near my hometown. I met Vahan at one of the meetings, another stroke survivor with aphasia, and we became friends. He invited me to join the Lingraphica Users Group.
