Hercules Story

I woke up December 1998 and could not talk. I thought I had laurengitis. I went to work and worked 10 hours. We came to Winter Haven Hospital and when I told them it started more than 12 hours ago they told me you have a 2 hour window. I woke in the hospital and could not use the whole right side of my body and c ould not talk. They moved me upstairs for about 4 weeks of therapy=speech, OT, PT. I still see my speech therapist in the monthy aphasia meeting. I learned a great lesson, last month my mouth and eye drooped. I told my wife to get me to the hospital quick. I walked in telling them I need the TPA shot. They found out I had Bell’s Palsy. Now I stay home, mow the yard, cook and watch TV.
