My name is Tom Broussard, three-time stroke survivor called “Johnny Appleseed of Aphasia Awareness.”
Aphasia affects about two million people and is more common than Parkinson’s Disease, cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy yet most people have never heard of it.
I studied 20 hospitals in Florida and found that only four websites provide any information about aphasia in their website. Go to your local hospital and tell them that we need to hear more about aphasia, their website can help!
