The Aphasia Community Membership

The Aphasia Community is free for everyone. Membership is required to access certain area of the website and to actively participate in disucssions and chats.

We have memberships for different types of user whether you are a person with aphasia, a caregiver or someone just wanting to know more about aphasia.

The Aphasia Community provides content and connections based on your membership level so that you can connect with other members at the same level.

Below are the membership levels currently available on the Aphasia Community.

Person with Aphasia (PWA)

Explore, read, and learn in the community

Access to join a Virtual Connections session or a live webinar
Ability to download PDFs and other resources
Access to Aphasia map
Ability to participate/post in the Community forums
Ability to connect with other community members – follow and message

Ability (upon selection) to participate in research studies
Ability to join Lingraphica focus groups and provide input on our devices and apps
Ability to connect your account to an SLP account for therapy

Caregiver

Organization

Become an Aphasia Community Organization member and serve as a bridge between others across the country advocating for those affected by aphasia. Membership is open to companies, nonprofit organizations, foundations, and support groups that serve all sectors of the aphasia communities.

As an Organization member, you’ll enjoy engagement opportunities and access to members, caregivers, professionals and gain insights to help you understand how to better serve aphasia needs throughout the country.
